English Language in Multimodal Practices

This course covers multimodal practices applied to different textual genres in English. Students read and interpret texts from different genres and cultures that use multimodalities to construct meaning. In the end, students are able to critically analyze the functionality and relevance of using multimodal language in the reception and/or production of texts from different genres.

English Language as International Practice in Teaching

This course deals with English Language teaching as an international practice in different socio-cultural contexts. The students reflect on English teaching practice in contemporary times, in face-to-face and/or media content with different cultures. Ath the end, students will be able to develop English language teaching/learning strategies in different socio-cultural contexts.

Practice of Written Skills in English Language

This course focuses on improving academic writing through English.
