This course is designed for students with little or no prior experience in Virtual Reality (VR) and game development. It focuses on the planning, design, and development of games and immersive VR experience prototypes within an entertainment-oriented context. Students will also learn how to validate their projects in real-world scenarios.
Throughout the course, students will develop the ability to evaluate, contextualize, and discuss Virtual Reality games and applications, gaining practical and theoretical insight into the possibilities of immersive technologies.
Main study topics include: VR Game Development, Game Project Planning, Game Design Principles, Spatial Orientation in VR, VR Interaction and User Interfaces, Iterative Development Cycles, and Prototyping.
