This course explores the principles, frameworks, and challenges of Artificial Intelligence Governance in organizational and societal contexts. Students use approaches such as Gartner frameworks, EU AI Act, OECD principles, and emerging global regulatory models to analyze how AI systems impact decision-making, ethics, regulation, risk management, and corporate strategy. All students will have exclusive access to the Gartner platform, which will serve as a foundation for research and application in real-world cases.
A major focus of the course is to address and support the development of responsible and trustworthy AI solutions, conceiving an AI Governance Plan for one organization, including elements such as risk classification, accountability, transparency, compliance, and continuous monitoring. The course is intended for students from IT, Engineering, and Business backgrounds interested in AI governance.
