This course focuses on discussing concepts of Taxonomy components in Science Fields, in academic and professional areas. It promotes the study of word formation processes and the use of morphemes from Greek and Latin, and improve reading and writing skills by means of providing clues to the meaning of new words in academic texts. In the end, students are able to present a critical view about scientific terminology and an analytical way of thinking and analyzing the lexicon in Science Fields.
